Pubs & Sports Bars
In Bangkok there are hundreds of great pubs & sportbars just like the ones back home. They usually have multiple TV screens and show sports from all around the world, so you rarely have to worry about missing out on your favorite game. Rugby, cricket, football, tennis, golf, baseball, NFL pool, snooker and more - you name it and you’ll find somewhere to watch it. Get your pals together over a beer and watch your favorite teams perform.

Pool table
Most pubs and sports bars have one or more pool tables where you can play a game with a friend or challenge another player. Write your name on the board and wait for your turn. The winner remains at the table and meets the next name on the board. If you feel up to playing in tournaments, a number of the bars run an all comers competition every week. Open / Close
Most of these places start with a breakfast service at 08.00 am, while closing time is usually between 01.00 and 02.00am. Some bars have special arrangements to televise the bigger sporting events, so keep an eye on BKK Town's website to check what is on where. Prices differ substantially between the local Thai houses and the British and European type bars with more facilities. You can pay as little as 60 baht or as much as 120 baht for an imported bottle of beer, whilst typically a good old pint will cost you around 100 baht.
