There is always something on in Bangkok with trade shows, exhibitions and concerts happening regularly. Below is some info on when some of the major events & concerts take place. Cultural centres in Bangkok regularly put on events with an international flavor, and several theatres present ongoing local and overseas productions of a high calibre. Impact
Only a short taxi ride from the centre of Bangkok in Muong Thong Thani, you can find IMPACT ARENA - a big convention centre which hosts a range of different exhibitions every month. In February and September IMPACT holds a large jewelry fair which has over 3,500 stalls set over 80,000 square metres. Some of the most beautiful jewelry can be found here, but get in quick if you plan on buying as over 80,000 visitors attend each exhibition.
Other Exhibitions
Some of the major shopping centres host smaller exhibitions and expos. One such centre is Siam Paragon which holds the Thailand Entertainment expo in September. Another popular location for events is the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre which holds a variety of different expos such as the Travel expo - great for some cheap deals on travel in Thailand. In addition to musical events, there are major sporting attractions to satisfy die hard fans. Children will adore the Disney spectaculars, and lovers of musical theatre will find tickets for classic Broadway or West End productions.
