Cinemas
Bangkok enjoys many great state of the art cinema complexes screening the latest movies. Each complex usually has between 5and 10 cinemas, all with comfortable chairs so you can sit as you would at home on your sofa. Most complexes also have VIP cinemas with no more than 20-40 seats. A VIP ticket entitles you to a reclining seat with a pillow and blanket, and a waitress to take care of you if you need a beer, coffee or even a bottle of wine during the movie. It’s the luxury way to see a movie!
See movie as you should
Almost all cinemas in Bangkok have comfortable chairs. Some have bigger seats along the back row that cost 100-150 baht more than the normal chairs, and if you have long legs this can be a great choice for you. If you want luxury, visit Siam Paragon and buy a VIP ticket. For a low price you get the best cinema chair you can imagine complete with a blanket and pillow. Also full “room service” is available during the movie; There is no better way to see a movie!
High class cinemas
As we’ve mentioned, there are several types of cinemas in Bangkok. One of the best is Siam Paragon with 14 cinemas showing all the latest movies. The largest one seats 500 people and the smallest (VIP) takes only 24. The VIP seats include a drink in the VIP lounge. We also highly recommend the 3D cinema at Siam Paragon that screens short movies every week. It's really cool and kids love this...Reservation
Most of the cinemas in Bangkok prefer that you come and buy a ticket on the same day that you want to watch the movie. The bigger cinemas have a online booking system via their website where you pay by credit card. If you don’t want to do that, just arrive at the cinema 30-60 minutes prior to the start of the movie and buy your ticket.There are always seats available unless you want VIP seats which are better booked in advance.
